Narayana Hrudayalaya is planning an expansion programme of 500 beds with the launch of a new hospital in Jammu and a pediatrics hospital in Mumbai. The expansion activities will be completed by end of 2016-17. The organization which has been listed in BSE recently is looking at growth through organized route as well as through acquisitions. Currently, the hospital chain has 6,200 beds, of which around 5,480 are in use. With the addition, the company would have around 6,700 beds by the end of 2016-17.
