Kashmir Ispat is planning an expansion programme at its steel plant in Samba in Bari Brahmna Complex in Jammu and Kashmir. The project involves setting up of an induction furnace of 25 TPH capacity to produce 1,19,000 TPA of Steel ingots. It will also increase the production capacity for Round, Angle, Channel, TMT Bars and Flats from 85,876 TPA to 1,13,050 TPA. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 3196 million.
