FIL Industries Ltd is planning to set up a new cement plant in Samba in Tawi in Jammu and Kashmir. The project involves setting up of a cement manufacturing unit with a capacity of 3000 tpd (0.9 mtpa) and will produce portland cement. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 5729 million.
