IOCL expands its Leh facilities

Indian Oil Corp Ltd has recently commissioned its expansion programme at Leh in Manali district of Himachal Pradesh. The company has expanded the bottling plant capacity from 1500 tonnes to 3300 tonnes. Besides, it has also installed a roof top solar system with a capacity of 35 kw in its POL Depot, taking the total capacity of solar power to 135 kw in Leh IOCL facilities.

The move is expected to save 30000 liters of diesel every year besides acting as a anti pollution measure.
